About the Game
YUBIBO Game Overview
In YUBIBO, you will work together to fight against gravity and keep wooden sticks balanced between your fingertips. Below is a general overview of the game. More detailed rules can be found in the rulebook.
General Game Flow:
Each turn, players will add an additional stick to the mix, making balancing them all progressively more difficult. The players who will balance the next stick are determined randomly using a deck of hand cards which designate both a color and a finger.
On Your Turn:
On your turn, if the color on the card matches your player color (left), you must use the finger depicted on the card to balance the newly added stick, but you may freely choose the player who you will balance it with. The chosen player may use any finger they want. If another player’s color is chosen (right), that player must use the finger designated on the card, and you may use any finger to help them balance the stick.End of the Game and Difficulty Levels:
Once the designated number of sticks (which varies based on the player count and difficulty level) is reached, the game ends in a player victory! In the normal rules, if any sticks fall, players will have to try again. There are also more challenging rulesets involving foam balls (depicted above) and higher stick counts. Feel free to try these out as you get more used to the game!
